This logo is interesting because it looks like a signature. I've only seen one other logo that has a similar vibe as this one and it is the logo for Ogilvy and Mather.This logo is meant for a brand but looks like a logo for a dessert company. The hot pick colour reminds me of dessert and candy and the large counters and the negative space is used artfully and strategically.
I'm not sure what typeface was used but I do know that is is a serif typeface.
